About WIC

• WIC is a nutrition and breastfeeding program that helps families eat well and stay healthy.
• WIC provides nutrition education and one-on-one counseling about food, nutrition, and breastfeeding.
• WIC provides food benefits to buy healthy foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, protein foods, whole grains, cereals, infant foods and more. Benefits are loaded onto an eWIC card for convenient shopping.
• WIC also helps with referrals to other health and community services.

How to Apply

If you live in Washington County, call the WIC program at 651-430-6658 to see if you qualify and to schedule an appointment. Language services are available.

To apply online, visit the Minnesota WIC online application tool. After applying online, please call 651-430-6658 to review your eligibility or ask any questions. 

WIC Clinics Locations

All Washington County WIC clinics are open to in-person visits.

• Cottage Grove Service Center
• Headwaters Service Center (Forest Lake)
• Government Center (Stillwater)
