5. About the Event

   Washington County is accepting vendor applications for the Community Ice Cream Social. This free, family-oriented event draws many visitors each year.

   Date: Thursday, July 17, 2025
   Time: 5 - 8 p.m.
   Location: 101 Pine Street W., Stillwater, MN 55082

   In the case of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled.

   Suggested vendor ideas

   Popcorn; face painting; kid’s activities, nature and/or history-based activities, lawn games, etc. Please note that all food sales (except individually wrapped products such as chips and canned/bottled beverages) require a valid food-handling license issued by Washington County Public Health or the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Food vendors may be asked to provide insurance information. The Historic Courthouse will sell gift items, and $1 root beer floats.

   Vendor space and details

   • Limited electrical outlets are available.
   • One table provided (must request in advance).
   • Set-up must be completed by 4:30 p.m. and teardown completed by 9:00 p.m.
   • Special arrangements can be made in advance for a Friday morning tear down of larger items like tents.

   A variety of organizations and businesses will be selected to provide a balanced array of products and activities. Proceeds from the vendor applications benefit the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund.

   Application deadline is June 30.

   • One application per booth.
   • Vendors will be notified by phone or email.
   • Please note that once a vendor has been accepted, supporting materials will be required (food license, proof of insurance) and a special use permit will be issued.
