Assessing and Values

Values

2026 assessed values are based on real estate transactions that occurred between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025. These sales are also trended by the Minnesota Department of Revenue to keep up with local market conditions. For example, if a property sold in the beginning of the sales period, it will be trended to reflect how properties are selling on the January 2, 2026 assessment date.

Valuation Notice

Property owners should receive their annual Valuation Notice in late-March. If you have any questions regarding your assessed value, please call the number on your Valuation Notice, or the Assessment Division at 651-430-6175.
