Traffic Section Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and maintain the County's traffic signal systems, highway signing, lane striping, and pavement messages
- Perform traffic studies and crash history analysis
- Review and issue permits for work within County right of way
Washington County issues a report each winter which prioritizes county intersections for improvements based on traffic counts, safety performance.
