Washington County Parks Accepting Donations for Winter Clothing SwapDrop off your clean, gently used winter clothing and gear now through January 22 at the following locations: Lake Elmo Park Reserve, Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park, or the Historic Courthouse. Items should be free of major stains and tears. Items should be winter-based such as hats, gloves, snow pants, coats, snow boots, and base layers. Stop by the Washington County Historic Courthouse on January 23 and 24 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. to shop for items. Donations are not required to participate. Limit one coat per person. Learn more

2026 Shredding Dates ScheduledWashington County will offer free paper shredding events for confidential papers at the Environmental Centers on the dates below. Shredding events are only open to Washington County residents and businesses.
