While construction of the County Highway 14 (47th Street) and 24 (Osgood Avenue) Project in Baytown Township is substantially complete, some final work remains and will be completed this spring/summer. The remaining work includes reconstruction of the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing and the new traffic light at the intersection of Osgood Avenue and 47th Street. Roadway work is expected to begin on Monday, May 5 and will require the closure of County Highway 24 (Osgood Avenue) south of the County Highway 14/24 intersection (see map below for detour route). Traffic will be maintained east and west and north of the County Highway 14 and 24 intersection. Local resident access will also be maintained.
