The Hastings School District encompasses over 170 square miles. The school system has a Kindergarten through grade 12 with enrollment of about 4,300 students and a total district population of about 28,000 residents. District 200 serves the cities of Hampton, Hastings, Miesville, New Trier, and Vermillion, and portions of Denmark, Douglas, Hampton, Marshan, Nininger, Ravenna, and Vermillion townships. While most of the school district is located in Dakota County, parts of ISD 200 are in Washington and Goodhue Counties.
The Chisago Lakes School District unites five historical communities including Chisago City and Taylors Falls. District 2144 encompasses 165 square-mile and is home to over 3,300 students (PreK-12) and their families. The White Bear Lake Area School District serves all or parts of Birchwood, Gem Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Little Canada, Maplewood, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township. School District 624 serves nearly 9,000 students PreK-12. The district also offers adult basic education, community education classes, recreation offerings and a senior program.
The Forest Lake Area School District 831 is located 30 miles north of the Twin Cities. South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) is a suburban district located southeast of St. Paul. The district includes all or parts of the communities of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park, Woodbury, and Afton, Denmark and Grey Cloud Island Townships, an area of 84 square miles. The population of the district is approximately 98,100 people, including the more than 18,400 students who attend district schools. SoWashCo Schools operates 24 schools.
