Auctioneer License

You need an annual auctioneer license to conduct auctions in Washington County.

How to Apply

1. Complete an application 
   • Form No. 996 Application for Auctioneer's License (PDF)
   • Out-of-State Irrevocable Consent Form (PDF) (if applicable)
2. Pay the fee |  Cash (do not mail) or Check
   • License fee: $20 - Valid for one year from the date it is issued
   • A $1,000 surety bond is required for the license period
3. Return or mail application, applicable documents, and payment (do not mail cash) to:
